I am so sorry that you feel so bad. Do try to take heart that you are doing the right thing as you have been to see your doctor and await the psychiatrist. Let us hope that the medication starts to help a little soon.
Perhaps you could consider talking with a family member or friend. This can help a little.

Sorry you are bouncing along the bottom at this time. You are lucky your GP knows your needs and has recommended further treatment. Hopefully after this appointment you will feel much more at peace with yourself
Have you tried Mindfulness, Relaxation Techniques, books are available on the Amazon site.
Many feel diversions away from our conditions can help in moving on to a better place. I have various hobbies and activities that help me although I am unable to take part in sports. Sports can help you lift your mood for a time and move on. When I was younger I played table tennis and I would swim the latter seemed to help in many ways.
You could ask if there are any Mental Health Day Centres around you could visit, you will find like minded people who will give you support and help you move on. I used to be a Voluntary worker in one and it proved to be a help for me.
