Hi All,
Does anyone have private healthcare for Bipolar?
I’m looking at packages that include talking therapies and such as I only get 1 every 6 weeks with my practise.
Overwhelmed and confused with what I’ve found on there internet.
Thanks!

Hi MelodyLeigh and thank you for your post.Your GP may be able to refer you to a therapist privately. He/She may write to your therapist to tell them any relevant medical information before you start the therapy. Your therapist may write to your GP so they stay up to date on the therapy you are receiving. I have done some research on this and have found some information which I hope will be helpful to you. If you wish to choose your own therapist, please checkthat your therapist is listed on one of the registers of approved ["or accredited"] professional organisations. Professional organisations make sure therapists meet certain standards before they approve them. There are some organisations on the following website which have lists of approved therapists ---
Talking Therapies/Mental Health Foundation

This website contains a lot of useful information regarding your query. I hope this helps. Are any other members of the forum able to help and advise MelodyLeigh, please? THANK YOU AND BEST WISHES.
