Hi.I get disablement benifit but not the full allowance.I have a number of issues.like 2 slipped discs. pvd.recovering from heart attack.but I've just been diagnosed with chronic anxiety.should I contact the relevant ppl and ask them to add this on to my list of illnesses..

I think you should let them know in case it increases your allowance. I think you deserve all the support you can get.

It's the only money I get.dss won't give me anything as they say I'm fit for work.I can't even get up 10 steps without being out of breath.I've applied to around 100 jobs but because I have to declare any.all.or past illnesses I get the usual "unfortunately on this occasion your application is unsuccessful"..even with doctors reports to back up my illnesses I'm still classed as fit for work...makes me laugh.until my heart attack I'd never been out of work since I left schook at 15 I'm now 56...lololol
