Hello Stormofraiza

I am sorry you are finding it difficult to get an appointment with your new doctors. It sounds as if you are having a bad time in general. Have you moved house recently?

Try again, perhaps you will get a better response now the holidays are past.

If you feel you need to see someone urgently you could try 111 or a walk in centre nearby.

Perhaps if you could tell us more about your situation, our members can help? We are a supportive community so do keep in touch.

Best wishes

I moved in mid November been of medication thought I'd sort it out my last doctors kept saying I was fine until the hospital made them do something but even then no real help so was hoping for a bit of luck see if it makes a difference. But the last couple of days I phone as soon as they open and they say sorry no appointments today or tomorrow try again in the morning.so not helping the feeling of futility

Essentially I'm past the point of wondering why I should go on to the next day

Hello Stormofraiza

I am sorry you are not getting help from your doctors, it must feel so frustrating for you. I can see why things seem futile for you.

Our members may have more suggestions so keep talking to us about how you are doing and what is happening for you. So perhaps if you can post on the forum we can help more.

Do you, have a support worker or similar that you can contact?

It might be worth getting in touch with MIND mind.org.uk

0300 123 3393.

You could also call 111 to see if they can suggest where you can see a doctor.

If you need a crisis line there is information in the Pinned Posts.

take care and keep letting us know how things are going.

Best wishes

Yeah 111 just tell me to go see my doctor or Trent something but they keep fucking my appointments up

Hi Stormofraiza,

After talking to my receptionist, I have found the doctors keep a few appointments free in the morning provided you mention the magic word "emergency". Also after lunch time, a free spot usually reserved for administration which could be booked. I also book the next appointment before leaving so I am not at the mercy of "the system" later. You can always cancel if you are feeling okay.
