Yes I have been through both as a child and verbal abuse as an adult by some people who manipulated me. It’s caused me to have major depression, anxiety, and insomnia. I’m on Sertraline 100mg and Vistaril 50-100mg per night.

Hi there jaelyn_brooke, thank you for your post . I have read your posts since you joined our very caring forum recently and I am truly sorry for your past and present difficulties. You are still very young to have gone through so much heartache and I really hope that in time you will begin to feel better in yourself. I understand that you are a single Mum to a young child, both work and study and that is to be really admired. You are doing great and have a lot to cope with, but I hope too that you will give yourself a pat on the back for doing so much and feel proud of yourself. It is good you want to do something for yourself now,and perhaps going to weight watchers can be a New Years goal and something for you to achieve for yourself on a personal level. I am so so sorry that you have been through verbal and mental abuse, that cannot have been an easy time for you .I hope that you are receiving support from your GP and local mental health services, and perhaps counselling may help . This would provide you with the opportunity to talk through your pain and hurt in confidence, and try and lessen your burden of what you have been through. I wonder can our very supportive and kind members offer any advice and help for Jaelyn, that would be a great help.......thank you all so much.........Take good care of yourself and let us know how you are getting on......Wishing you a happy and peaceful New Year.......with very best wishes and god luck to you.........
