I replied to this Poster about half an hour ago. It now says this post has been deleted. What has happened?

Hi marigold, thank you for your message. I appreciate that you replied and reached out to help this young person yesterday. You do give very good advice and information, which is very helpful and kind of you. However ,the reason that this post was removed is that in the message, this person said that she 'is very young and does not want to give her age'. That actually rings alarm bells for us as MAS nurses as the rules to join this forum state by Health Unlocked that a person must be 16 and over to join. And we have to abide by these rules and encourage the person to seek advice appropriate to their age. While we fully understand and empathise that this young person is going through a very difficult patch, her post implied the need for Medical and Professional help. She has been sent a private message with information of how to get further help for a young person. She has been asked to clarify her age and if she replies that she is 16 and over, she of course is welcome to join this forum. Young children need to be safeguarded which is why these rules are in place. Please do not feel upset marigold, as we really do appreciate all the help you give to our community members as I have read a lot of your posts. I appreciate too that you have suffered for a long time, and now that you are feeling better you want to reach out and help others which is remarkable of you and so kind. I too have learned a lot from your posts so many thanks for all your very helpful information. Do keep posting here marigold, you are a great support for those in need.
