sunday dinner: whats everyone having... - Mental Health Sup...
sunday dinner
Just had a wrap, got a staff meeting in about 45 mins and will be there for about 2 hours,so a fun sunday(suppose to be a day off) but nvm at least i get paid i suppose, and have tommorow off.
And at least i had chicken in the wrap though,at least thats a little part of a sunday dinner at least
Ah im not to bothered about sunday dinners, any more, not bothered about xmas dinner either,it use to be a case of my grandmother use to come around every sunday to have dinner with us,but once she passed away, dinners kind of just faded away.
Then are house had to be adjusted for my father(wheel chair access etc etc) so the kitchen no longer has an area to sit down,so now when i have food i just go to the bat cave(my room) and eat or i just have a protein shake(depends on my mood really lol)
Today I made myself lambs hearts with a rosemary and red wine sauce, diced potatoes cooked with goose fat and served with steamed spinach. Lambs heart sounds a bit strange but it's a fantastic piece of meat and when cooked correctly, makes a superb meal. Cooking is one of the few things I enjoy so I always like to experiment with different sources of meat.
Is there something special for Sunday?
I don't enjoy cooking, especially since my mom died and it's only me. I use frozen dinners, or just meat like shrimp, salmon, steak, or whatever I can get from Peapod. I rarely leave my house. I have everything delivered
