I have a 5 year old tabby cat. Is it normal for him to bring in a mouse every night if several mice a night?!

It sounds like normal behaviour for a cat. I don't really see how you can stop him other than keeping him in which you wouldn't want to do.

Yes this is one of the roles a cat has. The mice are gifts for you so you should rejoice your cat loves you Meeeooowwww

Yes completely normal. To a cat this is social bonding and he is bringing you a present. My cat catches mices but so far hasn't brought any in as I don't have a cat flap!

Many cats don't do it and most tend to grow out of it in time. x

Quite normal but be suspicious if he starts recording his kills on a speadsheet on your computer. He could be becoming obsessive about it.

that's a sign ,your cat is saying thank you to you because you are feeding her or him 😁

when I was young we watched a lot of tv - one morning we got up to find that the cat had neatly laid 3 mice out in front of the TV as an offering.

Unfortunately it is normal behaviour - cats tend not to hunt for food but it is an instinct.

TY. He plays with them! euchhh

Oh yes, I have had many cats and once our cat Portia brought a stote in the house through the window she liked using as a cat flap. She did bring in mice often via the real catflap they think they are bring you a present!
