Saw this today and it hit the nail on the head for me. Must stop binging on naughty food to cheer myself up and get some exercise instead!

Food and Exercise
It looks like good advice, I am on the up and I'm sure my evening walks have played a good part in it.
Good luck!
Very true, so good luck with excercise, it does help for sure. The hardest
Part is putting on your runners and getting out the door. Lol

Yes I agree so much about the food and exercise thing, but the trouble is that believing and being able to exercise is two different thing's , I would love and I mean love to be able to run or Jog, or walk more than a few metres without pain, although I go at it every day and do what I can, but it is never enough, because it's a full time job managing my condition and trying to stop it getting worse as muscle if not used wastes away, and I mean it is a full time job, because of the pain, it has to be managed well , or you just end up in more pain.
But getting your blood circulating is so important for depression(I think) and it also helps in distraction, best Alex
That sounds like a very difficult condition to manage. Are you able to do something less painful like swimming, yoga or pilates? I can't run either as I have problems with my knees but I do enjoy swimming I always feel so much better after getting some exercise - just got to remember that when I'm sitting in my PJs feeling sorry for myself!
SadandBlue my friend, there are things and movement I can do but very limited, so much so that the physio would only give me exercises to do on a chair, but as it's my body and I'm more aware to the nuances of the pressures, after 30 years I'm the expert, that's not to say that I won't listen, but he said I should have someone with me if I went swimming, so as my independence is the most important thing ,I persevere and do what I've always done and manage as best I can on my own (I still drive) and I want to keep on driving as long as I can as it's my life-line to the outside world.
Never mind SadandBlue, we all get those moments in our jammies, but it's good that you cope the way you do; as you know the nuances of your body , and yes running is something that I miss so much to, as it get's rid of so much stress , and the benefit's from keeping your circulation going is well known, and so yes you do have to put in a lot of effort best wishes Alex
