Hi Sue. How are you today?

Bored! I've done nothing for the past few weeks other than put things to sell on e-bay in order to clear out and then bought as much as I've sold. Now I'm having to re-sell much of what I bought. What a waste of life! I can't seem to get it together to do anything else at the moment. Now I'm listening to Rachmaninov 2 on classic fm and that always makes me feel sad.

How are you?

Sue

I cannot see that meditation can do any harm. Most therapies tend to recommend it in one form or another, so if this helps you why not go for it .Gemma X

Thanks. I'm trying out the free 10 day programme - just wondering whether or not to subscribe. Might go for it and report back after a few weeks.

Try the ten day free starter .

then see for yourself if you want to carry on with the paid account.

you will need a time of the day when you can have five minutes quiet !.

I have been doing it 9 days now and it seems to help with the palpitations, most of us get.

Thanks bepete. I've done a couple of days of the free starter and liking it so far. I'm going back to work soon after a long absence and hoping it will help me cope with the panicky feelings I get every time I think about it. Do you think you will carry on and subscribe?

Possibly ! my story is that im convalessing after a road accident that wasn't my fault and may have a life changing effect in the future.

I was on citalopram the year before last after a bought of depression, but I got off them early in 2013.

I am trying to help with the effects of the accident, and the forthcoming operations etc etc.

by using headspace.

but I also find a daily dose of this site helps me concentrate the grey matter.

everyone on here has a story to tell, and its sometimes nice to help.

today though im a little lonely ,and im thinking ahead to my next op, to remove some of the plates in my foot .

this will be in may !

making it nearly six months away from work by that time.

so every bit of stimulation or relaxation helps !.

sorry for the rant its one of those black dog days !

glad to see the meditations helping though .

good luck to you .

No need to apologise - we all need a good rant every now and again! Hope it's helped a bit to get it off your chest. Good luck x
