I want to hide away. Had a panic attack in costa yesterday. Too many people, all too close to me. Hat on, sunglasses on and just wish i could hide in a box today

Hide from the world
If you feel you want to hide away today, then do just that. But I feel I must emphasise the 'want' part of that sentence. If you don't want to but you're so anxious about going out into crowds, then just try a walk round the garden or even just to the end of the road. Don't force yourself to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. Be kind to yourself. Sending a gentle hug to you x
I know exactly how you felt in Costa. I was the same in shops yesterday. Too many people, shelves too high in shops etc. Much rather stay at home.
Im just chilling today. Listening to music, watching tv, eating and drinking lots of tea. Family in other room. They dont understand why I want to be alone.
Back to work tomorrow.
David
Hi David
It's always hard for family and others to see how we are. They see
Us as ok, so don't expect too much from them. You just do what relaxes
You, I'm listening to Eva Cassidy and drinking tea too.
Hannah
Hi Hannah. You always speak sense. We need to do what WE want to do on days off without feeling as though we should or ought to be doing something. Of course we cant be selfish but I have been ironing seven shirts whilst watching snooker this afternoon on my own. Lovely.
Ah thanks David , yes at this stage I. My life I have learned
To do what pleases me, now not to the extreme but I try and put my needs first . For years I didn't even know my needs and now that I do , this helped me to feel better.
Glad your doing ok, it's nice to do that at weekends to recharge the old batteries.
Hannah
Hi Scoobydoo
Just wanted to say ' I'm thinking of you'. . Try and put it behind you and be nice
To yourself at home.

I hid away by myself for a while and feel a bit better x
We all need time on our own.
Crowds don't do much for me either. I go to the supermarket on a quiet day about 12.30 when most people are at lunch. Then I can cope with it. Julie xx
I think it's the 'they are all looking at me' that does it for me. Forgot my glasses and paying in a shop with a really nice assistant who joke about he own eyesight didn't help. Could feel the other shoppers crowding and staring (but of course they weren't).
