What works better on hip joint pain caused by either arthritus or hip being slightly moving around and gettimg a little out of place, Advil or Allieve?

That really depends on your general health. They are both anti-inflammatories. Both medications can cause problems with your stomach and kidneys and are worrisome if you've previously had heart and kidney problems. I have had problems with both as I have a hernia as well as lower back broken and joint pain. Really bad reflux and indigestion unless taken with food. As a long-term treatment, I understand that it's not a good idea. I take pregabalin which has proved quite effective in managing nerve and joint pain for me.
