You need a proper examination as a pain anywhere in the body can be a sign of many problems.

Get an x-ray, ultrasound or cat scan done, it will give you some idea what’s causing your rib pain.

If you google almost anything medical, it'll come back as a sign of cancer. Just get it checked out ... it could be many different things. Sometimes rib pain is just injury to the ribs, and sometimes it is your body telling you it is something else. Get it checked out.
