Is this Blood

I have suffered with Constipation on and off for last 7/8 weeks now. I go twice a day not majorly straining when I am constipated maybe 30/40 secs then starts etc. Today after putting paper to cushion the stool I noticed this what looks liked blood in mucus at end of stool. Rest of still didn’t have any. Was quite a bit of red skin in stool as I have raspberry’s and strawberries in daily nutribullet. Anyone offer any insight? If it was serious would constipation be more consistent and painful etc?

Any change in bowel habits merits a trip to the doctor. Don’t delay.

Anyone who thinks there might be blood in the stool should get it investigated by a doctor as soon as possible.

Thanks both. I have seen doctor as had 3 small amounts over last two months, mainly happens a day or so after being constipated. Doctor examined me and said couldn’t see or feel anything, has referred me but could take months at the moment. I have taken 5 FIT tests all negative and a lactoferrin and Calprotectin test 4 times always negative. Most of this started after taking Aamatrpllin for 4 days
