Best option is to discuss with your Doctor or Health professional. Medication is often available to help treat such issues.

When you are feeling really low there are people you can call and talk things over with.

But you have to think, would people really be "better off without you around" ? I really do not think so. I am sure their lives would be much worse. Look to the future and make it bright !

It is normal to feel like that from time to time. There is a difference between being depressed and suffering from depression (what many people seem to not grasp). Now I am not saying you have one or the other, or neither I am not a professional to be able to tell but just know that you are not alone.

Try to find something that peeks your interest. Its a different thing for everyone so there is no universal thing to do. For someone it is to go out with friends, for another person it is to have a walk in the forest by him/her self. Playing games, reading books, making music and much more that can help you focus on something else.

Also good to set your self small goals and keeping to them ,gives you a routine and something to strive for.

1st step to solving a problem is realising there is one so thats good, from there its only up to you how you will deal with it, but you can seek help, be it friendly or professional to help you along.

As for the "people being better off without" most of the time is not the case. Suicide leads to a lot of pain, especially for the family and friends that then blame themselves. Talk to them instead and try to share your feelings and your problems. If you ever feel suicidal, then think of it as a selfish act that only would do harm to everyone involved. There are also hotlines where you can talk to people that have experience with such problems and are maybe people that felt like you as well, then turned around and decided to help people like the ones that they used to be.
