Things have generally improved since the op for my severe phimosis but I still have some issues.
The main being soreness swelling and discolouration at the bottom of the glands just above the scar line. This worsens when doing light exercise. In a flacid state most of the shaft skin rolls over the head so im thinkinh during every day activities this is causing friction and causing it to swell up?
How will this resolve?
I was getting strong erections around week 4 but since the glands have flared up im getting pain and the erections have weakened.
The actual head of the penis when erect also feels very weird to touch as if its still healing on the inside, best way to describe it would be numb like pins and needles feeling . Don't really feel anything normal
Will this improve over time?

Yes all will resolve and what you are describing seems entirely normal. Give it time. I'd say week 8 to 10 you should see a real up turn in improvements but everyone is different. Had mine in early May. By start of July I was on a caravan holiday and had forgotten all about it.
For the head feeling, for me, that's the new normal. It's in the process of desensitizing so it doesn't feel like it did before when touched.
Heya. Had mine in March this year. Like others have said, time is the best healer. It's a simple operation with a tough healing process for us men. By 12 weeks you won't be noticing it all that much, you'll be feeling far better and less sensitive. Sounds to me like you're experiencing some good healing with desensitisation beginning to happen. Also, don't panic about erections at this stage, they'll be back with a vengeance soon enough. It just takes time. We're all here. Lots of us were where you are very recently. Don't hesitate to reach out. Remember... the wound heals properly closed in around 6 weeks, internal healing continues for a while and aesthetic healing can take years. Things will just get better over time, but you'll notice improvements each week. You got this.
Thanks guys, saw the consultant today and he said everything was healing well but my foreskin pathology test came back with Lichen sclerosus. He told me to use E45 cream.
