Today is day 44 since my circumcision and it's still difficult to walk in comfy shorts/lowers and if I do walk it's with a forward bend which makes it a bit obvious and the pace is very slow.
Tbh, there is little change in hypersensitivity say 10-20% maximum and it's Uni day tomorrow.
Did anyone face a similar issue or am I the only one whose sensitivity issues have dragged so long?
P.S Is it a time issue or getting used to issue? I mean if I hypothetically walk at the pace I am currently walking will the issue resolve by itself let's say in 6 months? Or I would still have to get used to the sensation after that ??

To be honest you need to expose it to things. With time it's fine. Loose underwear means there is less control if it's sensitive. Tight ones mean it's held more securely. I think you will find that better.
Your brain has to get used to having your glans exposed. If you protect your glans, the slower the brain learns the new exposed state. I recommend not protecting the glans and instead exposing the friction. You have to endure it and go through it. This is what my surgeon recommended. This procedure resolved my hyper-sensitivity in 3 weeks.
ok i have the same issue, its day 24 now and i tried wearing boxers more often and my tip of penis or good part of upper penis head got all red and irritated almost bleeding so i realized i can't wear boxers its too sensitive but i have trouble wearing anything tight in this heat plus i work in a hot place so loose boxers is my only hope.
i also have to bent forward when walking which is obvious to other people so now im gonna try putting lots of Vaseline on my tip and try to walk normally. coconut oil helps to moisturize my helmet nicely but the walking with boxers is very hard at this point
I can totally understand your concern as I was in the same boat during my early days.
For some people, hypersensitivity takes a lot of time to subside. It took me nearly 3 months to wear underwear directly without any issue. The tip took a very long time to lose the sensation. It almost felt like a razer blade when glans drags in underwear.
Day 44 is still early, if you have really painful sensitivity and you need to go out, wrap a microfiber cloth and tape it up and cover the glans then wear your underwear. Of course this will take a little more time than usual to lose sensitivity but its a temporary solution to avoid the discomfort.
Apart from it, do the following steps -
Dip in water, then gradually increase dropping it from a height till you are ok (without pain)
Let the water flow over it, do it 2-3 times daily for 10-15 mins.
Try to keep it open and let it dry, when you are alone sit naked in front of fan.
Coconut oil is good but this reduces the speed of keratinizing and becomes more mess.
Instead, apply calendula/arnica talcum powder.
Try to touch it more, move your finger around it and let your brain understand the new sensation.
Do the same by touching the underwear fabric and move it slowly over glans.
Make sure you aren't hurting yourself, do not torture it.
Do this for few weeks and let me know.
Our nerves takes some time to adjust.
I had same problem, it took me hell lot of time but hypersensitivity diminished after few months. For complete healing, it takes 6-12 months.
Let the glans dry! Creams and others slow down the drying. Dryness adjusts sensitivity better. Underwear multiple soaks after washing. Washing powder residue is very irritating to the glans.
I have to say... I was using Vaseline and oils until a couple of weeks ago, but have just stopped completely. I am actually far more comfortable now than I was before, and sensitivity is dropping off incredibly quickly. Karlos_ is right, when you get to the point it's not like you'll be oiling up your dong for the rest of your life and while they won't stop healing, they will stop you getting used to sensations.
hey man I’m on month 2 right now, I kinda had to go back to work because disability doesn’t pay the best so I had to kinda get used to it. Like many of the comments exposing it to things helps as much as it sucks. I had to change my boxers. Used to just get Joe boxer briefs but since the surgery I had to switch to SAXX due to the insanely soft fabric they use. It helped me a ton changing from a rough fabric to a soft one. Other than that I would consult your surgeon but they are pretty desensitized to our concerns (might just be the experience I had with mine)
