balanitis returns after adult circumcision

3 years ago I was diagnosis with Zoon's balanitis.After a 4 month course with Tracolimus without success, I had an adult circumsion. 8 months ago, the balanitis returned, this time symptoms were different: there is no pain, no burning and no itch, just a blotch of redness which becomes redder as the day goes on and becomes more uncomfortable and sensitive due to the rubbing against my clothing. After seeing 4 different dermatologists with precriptions of tracolimus, antifungal cream,hydrocortisone and aquaphor, the redness is still there with no change.I noticed when a eat sugary food, there is more redness.( I am prediabetic).should I accept my condition as chronic, or is there a solution to my condition. Your thoughts, please.

Sadly there's only anecdotal evidence for circumcision being curative of Zoon's balanitis. Where you go from here I Don't know.

I'm diabetic, 72 and have low T. Surgery was 10 months ago, and recently started having red and irritated glans. My urologist thinks it's my low T and prescribed steroid cream which eliminated the the issues in two days. I am waiting on my endocrinologist appointment to address the low T.

I would ask for a biopsy on the red bit just in case it something else.
