I don't have personal experience of this condition but have two friends who do.First of all a lot of men have some sort of bend on their penis, sometimes to one side or an upwards curve.
The consensus seems to be that if it's not causing you discomfort or interfering with your sex life, leave it alone.
One friend has had a pronouced bend to the right for most of his adult life but hasn't stopped him getting married, fathering two kids and having an active sex life.
The other guy is younger and went to his GP to ask about the operation because a girl complained.
He was told it could be done but it might come back. Also the operation could shorten the length of his penis slightly and as he's not that big anyway, he decided against it.
Don't know if any of this helps, but maybe have a chat with your doctor.
Mine has gently curved to the left for as long as I can remember. And caused no sexual difficulties.
If this is a new thing for you, best discuss with a doctor.
if it’s still working and serving its purpose leave it alone, operating could cause you more issues, if your in any doubt see your Doctor for advice, I would suggest taking a picture to show before your visit so they can see what you are concerned about 👍
I couldn't & wouldn't disagree with onejoker, please read my major concerns, completely traumatised still not recovered after more than 14 months, remain completely and totally grounded.
No but slight bend is normal towards left that sometimes people don't notice. Please see a gp. Do u have any problem during sex or at other time of the day
Thanks, for the advice guys
You're welcome. Stay well
I am also in late 50s with the same bend to the left as referred to above that many, many men have. I think I first notice it maybe early 40s, never caused a problem of any kind, and certainly would never consider having an operation just for that, as you have probably read all the many many risks of any operation, definitely not worth it in my opinion.
