so 4 months back i started having cuts on foreskin the main reason according to me was i did not stretch it (masturbate) for straight 12 days then i let it heal on its own then i was good after few weeks then suddenly when i used to stretch it used to get cuts and foreskin was not completely retractable and used to hurt when i try to pull it down so i avoided masturbation and now that the cuts are healed but the issue is that firstly when i pull my foreskin back it gets pulled down (not easily) and stucks behind glans and does not stay there it comes to its original position second issue is that the part where i got cuts which is now healed but is rough and hard third problem is that now i am getting PPP(pearly penile papules ) although its not grown very much they are very minute and lastly my glans is also rough nowdays and it is very much affecting my mental health please tell me whats actually going on with me also im 18yrs old

foreskin issues
Your GP is the best one to advise you on these issues. If the GP can't help you on the spot, you may get a referral to a urologist who specialises in this area of the body. Our bodies are engines and doctors are mechanics so don't be worried about being examined. Ask for a male doctor if you prefer when you make the appointment. Through life to maintain our health we sometimes have to go through medical examinations that are not fun, but we just need to get through them so that we get the treatment we need.
Diagnosing ourselves can be unhelpful and can cause unnecessary stress when we get it wrong! We are not medically trained.
Not knowing is the stressful part - once you are examined, you will get some idea of what the issues are and how to deal with them.
Best of luck with this Mate.
Get to see your GP.
An alternative would be a visit to your nearest sexual health advice centre, sometimes called Genitourinary (GUM) clinics. Google 'sexual health clinic near me'. They often have drop in sessions when you don't need an appointment. But I would still suggest a GP visit if you can.
There are a number of minor issues, whether you've had sex with someone else or not, that can be easily cleared up with the right treatment, especially if started early on, so don't wait hoping that it will sort itself out on its own. You'll feel much better when you get seen and get it sorted out.
Hey qazwsxedcrfvr,
Sorry you are going through this but when you have tried to practice with masturbation have you tried any gels or lubrication to help? worth a try, those pearly penile papules (PPP) They are not causing any pain, are they? they shouldn't do and should disappear little by little as time progresses you are only young. These are also NOT contagious either, there are no real home treatments for this in the uk, however, if you chat with your gp am sure that they can organise something to freeze them off, it's not a painful procedure, and being uncomfortable takes only a couple of days. I hope this helps a little and good luck but please do not worry about them its perfectly natural to have these. Take care
thank you for the reply but idont use any lube and the PPP also are not painless but can u just clarify is my foreskin supposed to get dry and hard after cuts are healed also it gets whitish but after shower it looks fine bt still is hard and also the problem of foreskin not staying down isnt a big concern right? meaning it retracts itself but it kinda folds and stuck behind glans
If you get cuts on the foreskin the it is often caused by a fungal infection, try some canesten creme
Rather than self-treatment for something that you may not have, get to a doctor and get a diagnosis. By the way, a foreskin is meant to slide back and forth over the glans. In some men that will happen when erect, whereas in others it may remain off the glans until an erection subsides.
