Advice on possible paraphimosis risk during steroid cream foreskin stretching?

Alright so I'm 21, never had sex so I don't know how well it would function there, I've been trying to stretch my foreskin to treat phismosis I've always had, recently I started using a steroid cream to stretch it, once a day, at night with that 0.05 steroid cream everyone recommends, and I seem to already be seeing huge results after 3 weeks, when erect perhaps 30% of my penis cap is visible whilst before it was almost none, and when flaccid I've managed to pull my foreskin entirely back, but however this is the problem, upon pulling my foreskin entirely down, it gets "stuck" behind the penis cap, I googled it and apparently this is known as paraphimosis, and it can be extremely scary if allowed to persist, this has happened 3 times to me so far and every time I've managed to pull the foreskin back to it's original place with somewhat minimal effort, but I feel if I pull it back any further I won't be able to and it might be stuck which seems pretty disastrous. So what should I do? Keep up with the stretching but avoid pulling it too far back until my foreskin "widens" naturally this way? Stop the stretching? Stretch it all the way? Stretch it while erect? What I hope to hear is that this is normal with such "fast progress" and I shouldn't be worried and it'll get easier each time, especially since my penis is quite a "grower" and the shaft is quite small when not erect compared to when it's erect, but I have no idea, if there's even a small risk of it becoming "stuck" and cutting circulation or something awful like that I'll stop. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated since obviously this is extremely important for me, thanks!

You got the answer right yourself. Do not pull it too far back until it is ready to do so.

So I should avoid pulling it beyond the cap at all for the next week or so?

Way to go.

In the event of paraphimosis you can reduce it if you use either granulated sugar or ice packs to get the swelling down.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind the next time it happens, so far it takes 5 minutes or so of gently "coaxing" but I'm able to get it to go back on top of the glans, 3 times at least, my hope is that it'll become easier and easier rather than harder :/
