Hi, I hope someone can help. My urinary meatus (exit of the male urethra) keeps sticking to my underwear. I’ve tried many different types of cloth and it does the same to all of them. It becomes painful after 20 minutes, and then I can’t function. Has anyone else had this and can suggest a solution? I visited a Urologist today and was told it was a “normal exam”. I’m at my wits end
Edit: I forgot to mention I’m circumcised already from birth and age 40.

Sounds fn annoying. Did your doc take a swab to see if there's an infection/discharge?
In my experience the meatus doesn't usually stick to anything unless it's oozing something that would make it sticky. Presume you've tried "the urologist go to" for cut men and head issues: vaseline? Or some other sensitive skin moisturiser or pure aloe vera gel?
You say you've tried different fabrics but they say slinky/satin/synthetic boxers trunks or briefs can be best for cut guys on the move as cotton rubs you up the wrong way if you have a sensitive head.
Do you wear too tight pants so the meatus is rubbing against your body/underwear? Is it rubbing up against too much or newly shaved pubes?
Do you keep your dick upright in your pants or let it hang down? If it hangs down you can get trunks/briefs that have a compartment/pouch for your dick to hang down to stop friction against your body.
Do you need to use a sensitive skin laundry power or soap? Do you use fabric softener? Could some ingredient in those products be causing irritation? Can you try sensitive no perfume powder and skip fabric softer?
Do you drink enough water so your pee is not dark and sticky?
Far out - I bet you wished you hadn't posted but that's all I can think of.
I am so happy you took the time to respond. I just tried Vaseline right now and it didn’t help. It’s possible my pants are too tight or that pubes are poking it. I moved back to microfiber just now and it feels slightly better.
My dick unfortunately sometimes just points straight ahead (but not erect). That is the worst. I can’t figure out how to fix that.
I already use sensitive skin laundry detergent. No to fabric softener.
I probably don’t drink enough water, so I guess I’ll do more of that?
The problem is as soon as I got home I feel like there’s a very small blister just next to the opening. That wasn’t there when I was examined. I think it is friction? Do you know how to treat that?? It’s not STD related cuz I haven’t had any in a long time.
I think a blister in that very sensitive area is for a GP to advise on.
I once had a blister on my shaft and went to the Doc about it. It turned out to be a pimple which she proceeded to burst! Not the worst outcome. And no I did not get a hard on.
An easy way to get it looked at would be to go to free sexual health clinic. Some STIs linger or reoccur some time after. If it's not an STI you will hopefully get a diagnosis and some kind of definite treatment.
Always found staff there down to earth, unshockable and helpful. Your case will be memorable as the number of cut men presenting would be low. Expect very special treatment.
Until you see a doc, would chilling the vaseline help? As I said before pure aloe vera gel is good for sensitive skin. You can chill it in fridge too.
