I had it done 6 weeks ago.
It’s a nerve wracking thing to go through, but in the end I’m happy I did.
This guide here is the best information I came across:

You got this.
The first few weeks are the hardest. Make sure you buy some Vaseline and bandages. An ice pack is also very handy for the nightime erections, they can be a bit rough.
Thank you. Will take a look. Did you keep having second thoughts in the week leading up to it.
The first week will be tough. Then another week or 2 of getting used to it. If you don't get an infection (easily taken care of with oral antibiotics) it will be then plain sailing! Short term inconvenience for long term gain!
Been a bit over a year since I’ve had mine done. I’m 28 and bro, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. The healing process can be annoying, and make you think you made a poor decision but I promise it’s worth it in the end. It’s gonna take a few months to heal up but just give it time. We’ve all been through a crazy healing process so anything you need, feel free to message me man. I didn’t have any thoughts of doubt going into it because I know how unhappy and insecure I was and the circumsion is something I needed. Good luck my brother 🤙🏾
I had it done on Friday just 4 days ago. Nothing to fear. I had a local anaesthetic which was about 4 or so jags into my penis and around the area. That honestly is the only sore part of the surgery. Stitched, Bandaged and cleaned up and drove home two hours later. A bit of pain over the weekend but nothing exceptional or excessive. Showered after 48 hours and bandage removed to allow healing. As everyone says surprise erections are the biggest issue as it causes a bit of stretching of the wound. Keep the wound area clean, wash your hands every time before touching it or peeing. Vaseline morning and night on the wound area and so far a good experience. Best of luck nothing to fear.
I had my circumcision done on June 30 under general anesthesia. I never had any pain, so don't worry about that. I had Phimosis, so I needed it done. If you are doing it for cosmetic purposes, then it's more than I would want to go through for looks. Medically, it's minor surgery, but the recovery is months, and I got a nasty infection and spent 4 days in the hospital on antibiotics. Always risks... Good luck.
It is possible that you will regret it. It is not too late to withdraw consent. Read previous posts on this forum before you take an irreversible step which you may regret.
