7 days post circumcision.

Hey guys, i got my circumcision done 7 days before. I had a very severe phimosis which i never seen my glans in my life as the foreskin is never retracted back. The healing so far is pretty decent it seems. I have no pain in the stitch wound area. But i have few questions, your responses are highly appreciate.

1) I have attached an image of the cut. In the right side of the penis, Is it swelling in the skin or is it how the skin supposed hangs behind the glans after the surgery ? If i slightly pull that down skin only i can see the stitches there. I wonder if that’s a swelling cuz I was thinking, will the swelling would last longer if the wound healing is good. Or is it how the skin supposed to be after circumcision when the penis is flaccid ( non- erected). I am a grower btw.

2) I am having a minimal swollen bump on the back side of the glance where the frenulum is located. Why does it look like a bump with dry blood ? There is stitch right there as well. But no pain or discomfort in that area except if the stitch knot is aroused.

Your responses are highly appreciated. Also please tell me how can i attach images.

It is no longer possible to post pictures on this forum. After 7days you will still have swelling so it is difficult to tell what the end result will look like. Mine was very swollen for a few weeks and I didn't get a good idea of the end result till the stitches came out.

I also had a lump with dried blood at the frenulum. It's where veins are tied off and it took a long time to heal.

Things will get better with time

Thanks for your response buddy. Can you tell me approximately how many weeks it took for you to heal with the lump near frenulum ? Also I’m on the day 8 today and having a supersensitive glans I walking butt naked for past one week. Please tell me how long will it take the sensitivity to go off too.

It's 3 years ago now but I think it took about 8 weeks to heal up completely. It has left a little bump but nothing to worry about. Yeah the sensitivity is a pain. I just decided to get dressed on the second day and tough it out. I think it's the only way to get used to your glans rubbing against your clothes. If I was walking I stuffed a clean handkerchief down my underwear to protect things. The worst thing for me was the night erections. They kept waking me up and were very uncomfortable

Your response is much helpful man thank you. So you are saying within 8 weeks sensitivity will be healed too ? How many weeks to wait to have sex or at least an oral sex after getting the circumcision done ?

in reply toMegatron2000

The doctor recommended 6 to 8 weeks but I waited another week. I tried a bit of gentle masturbation first to see how it felt. Maybe nothing too enthusiastic to begin with.
