circumcision revision

Had a circumcision done 7 weeks ago and it had healed nicely on one side but on the other side there was excess skin that just didn't look right when flaccid or erect. So I'm Just back from seeing my surgeon and he has said I need revision to get cut again. I'm honestly devastated to have to go through this ordeal again in a couple of months. The past 7 weeks has been the toughest of my life mentally.

Has anyone else had to go back in to get cut again?

Yes, though I got my revision done just 5 days after my initial surgery due to the stitches breaking. And the doctor thankfully identified that there was excess skin and trimmed it for me while he re-stitched my wound.

Yes I had a revision 6 months after the first one due to unevenness and loose skin. The second result is much better cosmetically. You do have to go through all the healing again though in my case I'm glad I did.

I’m hoping the healing won’t be as bad as the first time. I’m dreading having to go through this again. I’m single at the moment too so my life is basically on hold until I sort this out 😕

How long did the healing take during your revision? Was it shorter than the initial circumcision?

What was the method used for initial circumcision ? Was it laser , zsr stapler or the normal process ?

was just the normal process. I’m getting the revision done in 3 weeks time.
