Hang in there , tbo i found the recovery tougher than the Op! . I swear it will be better. It’s like swelling goes each week.. Remember the poor thing has been cut and been through the wars! . Dont touch it to much week 1 as far as cleaning goes let the shower just dribble water of it. Week 2 some salt water rinses… twice a day is what i am still doing. I’m on week 5. Rest wont hurt and good diet.

Hey all good, Same i was like it week 1 same thoughts re email urologist that’s why we are here. Patience really is the key here, sleeping is tough, I’m a stomach sleeper and i think i got like 4hrs each night. I got one of those donut cushions from a friend and my dick sat in the middle lol. I’ve only just started laying back on the mattress normally. I’m still cautious though the scar tissue can give me a jolt here there. I promise its all normal from what your saying. Also a tip i learnt was invaluable was when it starts to rise for the occasion, grab a frozen bag of peas and gently pop it on to get it down, keep the stitches all ok. Mine came out week 3 roughly . I went from trying not to look at it, to now being a bit obsessed looking at it 🧐… Id never want my old one back again!!! I love peeing straight also , before was so darn messy! ..

don’t worry about any swelling it will subside - just keep it as dry as possible and don’t worry about cleaning that area for a week - best to leave it untouched - I’ve had my circum at 36 a year back - best decision I took in my life

Yeah, that was the same reason I went and got mine two years ago. The swelling ring is just the incision scar. It should eventually not be so bold looking when you finally get into a few months of healing.

it is mentally a mind mess up for the first few weeks. I’m in U.K. and had mine done October last year. It was horrible. Went through all sorts in my head.

Rest assured it’s the best thing ever. It looked sore, swollen, battered , ugly, everything but normal. Then bang it starts to look amazing !!! Stick in there

no problem. The sensitivity. You’ll be thinking how the heck am I ever going to be normal again. It’s weird it just happens. I was the most sensitive ever. Even when I had the skin. It’s called keratinisation. Google it. (Or not) but it will be the best thing ever you have done - promise

I was told keep it dry 3 days, then gently rinsing, a teaspoon salt with a litre bottle Luke warm water . I’m still doing it week 5 seems to settle things down. Another tip helped me was silky boxer briefs , and cargo pants as jeans were a bit rough. Early days my friend lots of Patience!!
