soreness after circumcised

Im a 38 year old and got circumcised over a year ago due to foreskin being to tight.

In the last couple months I have started to develop tares in skin at base of head after intercourse. Can be very painful for over a week afterwards.

just wondering if anyone else experienced same

Lube is your friend, and condoms may help too. Do you have diabetes btw?

I don't know how bad these tears are, but if can be "painful for over a week", I'd see a doctor if I were you. If you do, please let us know what they say.

I asked about diabetes, because that can cause the symptoms you describe btw.

i have been to the Doctors. He gave a antibiotic cream. He said to put it on when it happens and we see in 6 months

Glad you already got it checked out. Was it an anti-fungal cream though, or possibly a steroid cream rather than an antibiotic cream?

Fucidin cream. Its a mixture of antibiotic and steroid according to the internet

Ah. You've nailed it. Sounds like the band of outer skin under the head may be a little tight? I had this. It will stretch with time but Fucidine should speed it up. If it doesn't then ask if Dermoval would be better. Good luck
