11 days after surgery

Hi its been 11 days after surgery i am having a bad time my sight has been bleeding and i have the issue of i have so much loose skin its like inverted.. when i had surgery my dressing fell off straight after and i was told that this was ok.. up till today i could not pull back the shaft to the sight i was so tight.. all i want to do it cry i regret this so much and had to get it done for medical reasons i am really struggling and feel that i am never going to heel at all.. has anyone got any advice i have been doing the salts

Are you using any antibiotic ointment and keeping it wrapped with a dressing? I found that was very helpful for me both for healing and psychologically knowing if had more protection . You will heal and you will improve, everyday is one day closer to that. Maybe following up with your doctor will help give you piece of mind.

I have been to doctor and they have said salt water and just keep trying to retract skin.. my biggest problem she said was i have so much loose skin with loosing so much weight that has cause my skin to become more and to retract the skin.. i must admit the last few days i have been less sore and have been able to retract more it is about time but i am hoping its not going to be months.. thank you for your advice

My dressing fell off on about the second day also, I used non-stick dressing pads as a cushion to keep things still and protected.

Try short salt baths to clean the area, you should be able to gently move the remaining skin and stitches will slowly dissolve.

Do not rush things it will get better.
