How much swelling is too much?

Hi all,

Great to read everyone’s posts and appreciate all the responses.

Had my Circumcision Thursday 24th of June. All (apparently) went well and 3 days in have had zero pain, zero bleeding and basically all seems fine.

The only issue is the swelling, especially around the back of the head of the penis, is unbelievable. It feels like I have a 5kg weight hanging around my junk. It hasn’t gone down over the last few days either and has swollen over the stitches line. Has anyone else had experience with this? I know you should expect swelling etc but not to the extent that mine appears to me.

Any advice would be great.

Had mine done 4 weeks ago and yes, I had massive swelling for almost a week, it slowly started to go down but was still swollen after 2 weeks. It probably took 3 to 3 and a half weeks for all my swelling to disappear, but I have heard that some people have taken longer. Either way, don't stress, it's a completely normal after effect of the circumcision. My urologist recommended Dermaid to help with the swelling, and it did help.

Very happy with it now after 4 weeks and happy with the way it looks too. It looked like a scene from a horror movie in the first week, but like the swelling, that will go away.
