16 days post zsr circumcision

Hello All,

It's my 16th day post zsr circumcision. All went well initially. First staple was fell down on 7th day. After that it seems recovery is either very slow or halted as today on 16th day total fallen staples count is just 5. Only small piece of ring with 5 staples fallen and rest of the staples still attached to ring. Ring has been loosen since week. I heard when first staples falls rest of the ring should fall in 2-3 days. In my case it is not happening and after 16 day only 5 staples are down which is around just 20% piece of the ring. Can someone please guide why recovery seems to be halted or why this is so slow. ?

Update- last staple fallen today. It took 45 days to fall down all staples with silicon ring. Finally I am happy that there was no manual intervention needed from the doctor to remove any staples.
