Circumcision scars tearing

I was circumcised at a young age and have had no problems until a few months ago at the age of 39 when the scar tissue from the procedure has started to split during sex and sometimes just from an erection, is this common? or is there anyway to stop this happening?

That’s definitely not right. Maybe you should get checked out by a doctor in case you have an infection in your penis.

I’m gonna assume too much skin was removed in circumcision I would suggest the foreskin restoration forums on Reddit in order to regain some length back to prevent this from happening
