2w after circumcision: Shaft swelling covering wound and stitches. Still bleeding. Is it normal?

Hey guys! I had a circumcision exactly 2 weeks ago and I was told that a bit of swelling would have been normal, cool. Problem is I do have a significant swelling on the shaft of the penis, on the "upper" side (NOT where the frenulum was, opposite), and this swelling covers the wound and the stitches (I can't actually see them). So while on the "lower" side (where the frenulum was) the wound is almost dry, here is always covered and that keeps it moist to the point that it keeps on bleeding. I am going to seek medical advice from the hospital where I had the operation, but I was wondering if any of you had the same experience and/or if you know it's normal? I worries that one side of the wound would not be closing properly anytime soon due to the shaft swelling covering it and then potentially lead to further complications (such as infections). Thanks

Hey dude, I have the exact same problem as you. Although mine is worse because I am having an infection in my frenulum wound. My doctor said it's normal to have swelling and it will subside in 1 to 2 weeks time, although I've read that the swelling might take up to 6 to 12 months for it to be completely gone. May I know what did your doctor say?
