Since I can’t show you, I’ll try my absolute best to describe. I’m on day 5 and I was able to snag on some boxer briefs yesterday. It didn’t affect me as much and I pretty much had them on for about 5 hours possibly more. I’m still veryyy swole. I’m still sleeping naked at night because these erections.. dang.. they’re constant at night. And luckily I don’t move in my sleep. Anyway, what I’m wondering is:
Is it normal to still be pretty swole on day 5? I can see my stitches now without having to pull back and the skin around it and under the penis is VERY swole. It hasn’t really changed at all in terms of swelling going down. I was supposed to go back to work and school but I’m thinking of extending it by another week. It’s just soo swole. I’m assuming that once the stitches are out, the swelling will also go down. Im just confused by it because I’ve seen some peoples day 5-7 and their swelling is almost nonexistent under the head and near/above their stitches but mine has been the same since day 3.

Yeah I was massively swollen on day 5. And I was getting like ten erections a night, so annoying. If you can, don't drink anything for three hours before you go to bed and make sure you urinate as you settle down for the night. Take the extra week if you can, it will shorten the overall recovery time. Everyone heals differently but I'd say it was day 8/9 before I could see the incision
Swelling is very common after surgery and it can take from weeks or months to dissipate. All guys are different. You need to give it time. If anything about the post-op state of your penis bothers you then you should speak to a doctor.
Man dont be afraid my swelling only got better after 2 weeks even my stitches had already fallen off longtym ago so swelling is not a big deal just try to prevent infections thts it the rest wil play by itself
