In so called western civilisation and medicine no doctor give you just red pills without writing down what they are. What kind of medicine man you got there. ;)

Do you have similar in UK?

Maybe you can ask for your local health care provider help?

What is the purpose of knowing it again. Are you going to self-medicate yourself?

Here in Finland we have: kanta.fi/en/citizens

You can find all the drugs you have prescribed there.

Came here to say this [S2BC beat me to it]. Also, Robjames163 should go to the doctor again because Robjames163's situation may have changed, especially with the antibiotics.

Dealing with phimosis isn't a "do it yourself" and "over the counter" remedy. Each case is different. One may be bacterial, another may be diabetic, and yet another may be a skin disease. Get a doctor involved.

I think only a doctor can determine if Robjames163 needs a urologist or dermatologist in his situation.

What are you ordering? I really don't know what you have there? Antibiotics are not candies?

You need swab test first to make sure you even have a bacteria infection!! That is the way to find out what is the best antibiotic for a specific bacteria.

I’m ordering something the doctors have give me in the past

I really don't understand. Is the NHS that bad nowadays? You can not get swab test first! Or are you a busy lorry driver and have no time to visit there?

Thanks for the advice

You really need to contact your GP. Pills that you have had in the past may very well not be what you need now.

How did you get on with the steroid cream and stretching exercises?

Yeah at first they were good, I was due to go into hospital for circumcision last June, but due to covid 19 it got cancelled,

Did you use the cream the doctor prescribed to help you with stretching exercises?

If the pills were antibiotics than you must not take any more without the doctor saying you need them. Do you still have the package the pills came in? It will say what they are. If you think you need the pills (which will not actually help resolve your phimosis) then speak with the doctor who can look up on your records and determine what was prescribed to you.

If you want to get your circumcision done sooner than the NHS is likely to do it (considering that to them it is very low priority) then there are several good private clinics that will give you an appointment within 2-3 weeks.

You were very lucky with that timing!

Yeah I was amazed. I've been in the system since before COVID which might be something to do with it. They were really apologetic about the delay. I had a biopsy in 2018 with a 6 month course of treatment to see if they could resolve things without surgery, then I missed a follow-up consultation due to my consultant being on sabbatical, and then COVID hit

You could contact the doctors at 15Square 15square.org.uk This is a UK charity helping men both avoid circumcision and helping those who have problems through circumcision.

Have you used creams? If so, which ones? I’m looking to use a cream.

Not what you're looking for?
