Hi all, I haven’t been able to pull my foreskin over the head of my penis for many years. The width of the “hole” is now about 1cm, but not uncomfortable and I’ve learned to live with this. Would you advise seeing my GP? The last time, around 30 years ago my old GP just dismissed the problem and ignored my questions!

Hello buddy. You probably have Phimosis. I did. Same as you. I lived with it but after getting Balanitis it got worse and the hole got progressively smaller. I saw a urologist and he said I needed a circumcision. Had it a year ago and it’s the best thing I did. I’d have had it years ago but as I wasn’t in any pain, I just lived with it.
Hey there. 41-year-old man here who got circumcised for phimosis and adhesions 8 months ago and wished he'd had it done 30 years ago. Since having it done and healing up, everything has been easier and better - cleaning, peeing, masturbating, sex, etc. If it's bothering you and causing problems, go back to a GP and talk about options.
The whole idea of consulting a specialist is to ask for advice As a result of a consultation a circumcision may be the best way forward for you for optimum penile health.
Hi Skezza , Before going down the circumcision route , see your gp / urologist and ask for some Betamethasone which is a steroid cream, then go on amazon and search phimosis stretching apparatus ..... worth a go if you don't fancy the pain I did this and within a month could fully retract the foreskin ( for the purpose of masturbation )
Thanks everyone, really very much appreciated! I’ve made an appointment with my (female) GP and a little concerned that I couldn’t get to see a male doctor, but hopefully will get some sound advice. I’ll let you know how it goes next week. All the best, Skezza.
you could ask to try a steroid cream and look into stretching exercises, there's a procedure called dorsal slit procedure, or circumcision. Check out all the pasible side effects of each
