Peeing after circumcision

Interested in hearing your experiences on this. It's just over 48 hours since I was circumcised. Very swollen, very sensitive but doing pretty good.

Before I was circumcised I suffered from urgency, poor flow and a very stop-start urine stream. I had phimosis, Zoons, and BXO. Also an enlarged prostate (I'm 51 and overweight).

Post-op I'm pissing like a firehose. It's awesome. Long, well-controlled flow and no pain. And I'm going for a couple of hours before needing to pee again (I'm making sure I'm hydrating well) My urethral opening is more central if that makes sense? I had a frenuloplasty some years back which had pulled the head of the penis down slightly with scar tissue (common side effect)

Anyone else noticed a change in their urination post-circ?

Yeah,get used to peeing sitting down unless you enjoy mopping your toilet floor all the time 😂

I've always peed sitting down anyway, unless caught short. Tight foreskin combined with being overweight meant it was the best option. Currently I'm having to pee in the shower due to swelling. Might have to get a portable urinal

Even I have a long well controlled flow. Looks like foreskin before was providing some resistance to the flow. Now there is nothing to control it.
