Tight foreskin

I have always noticed my foreskin to be quite tight, I did abit of research lately which led me to this page to help solve it, I’ve seen that trying to pull it back whilst in the bath/shower or using steroid cream can help after a few weeks. Is it just a case of trying to get it used to being stretched by the sounds of it and it will get used to it? I know it can take a while but after doing it a couple of times and not seeing much results it’s hard to keep doing without much progress. In regards to steroid cream is there a specific type to look for and is it available just online? Could do with any help really, looked at possible a urologist but none close to me so could do with solving it myself really.

You need to go to the doctor to assess your phimosis and prescribe the appropriate steroid cream which you use while doing foreskin stretching exercises. Of course it is not a magic overnight cure but I am assuming you do really want to get rid of the tightness. Don’t forget that tightness can be caused by infection - yet another reason for seeing a doctor

Have u ever considered circumcision? Look into it do research about it myt solve ur problem but you have to be emotionally ready as it requires your commitment during the process. I say this cause I had a friend who had issues with his foreskin till he got to a point where it got stuck open nd couldn't close back. Have your Doc help your with your options. My advice, dnt leave it too long. Good luck

Yes the doctor is the first port of call. Gentle stretching and the use of steroid creams helps many, and is usually tried first. You need a lot of patience as it takes quite a while to make progress, anyway it is up to you and your doctor.

I have the same problem and my doc suggested circumcision, it's been a long journey after circumcision but now the problem is solved. Hope you too solve your problem. Good luck
