How long did your swelling last

Hi I’m currently 1 week post op and I know I’m still in the early stage but the sight of the swelling around my Penis head and incision especially the frenulum area gives me anxiety. I was wondering how long did recovery of the swelling take for you guys. Mine is like a ring shape and it’s not getting any better right now if anything I think it’s worse then when I first took the bandage off. Is this normal ? Please reply

Hi, I'm 4 weeks post op today and the swelling is there there near the frenulum but it's not bothering me. My doctor said it would take a while to go down and not to worry about it, he didn't give time frame though. He did say it would look worse before it looked better. A lot of the scabs and stitches are gone now but there is a couple still hanging in there. I found everything improved at the two week mark, the sensitivity was mostly gone, it stopped leaking, scabs started falling off and I was able to walk around normally. That's just me and im sure everyone heals differently.

If you are not in acute pain or have say... pus coming, then give it time. Swelling can depend from person to person. In my case it was easily 2 months and it was not a problem for me. I was not like in pain or anything.
