Foreskin tight and splitting. I am a type two diabetic as well I’m 53 years old.

My foreskin began to itch then got tight then began to split I used some anti-bacterial ointment and a couple lotions it got close to healing but still splits when I pull it back. Any suggestions. Very painful.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection which can happen when your sugar is to high. See a doctor asap for help in clearing it up . It will take some time for your foreskin to heal. It will get better with time.

That sounds like u have phimosis Is why lots of people get circumcised , I had phimosis at some point where it shuts and u can’t pull it back and yes is painful

Just give it time

I used Neosporin that seem to help

The causes for my phimosis was having sex multiple times in a day

I guess Jesus was saying u having to much fun let’s slow u down a bit😆

Condition will likely recur even with treatment because of your diabetes. Best long term solution is to get a circumcision. I just had a Shang ring procedure done. Been painless n easy to care so far.

I am 35 years old, two years back got small skin damaged on gland . instead of dermatologist by mistake I went urologist he gives so many antibiotics and fungal ointment the results I got phimosis just 45 days back circumcision done. I believe if we apply some warm saltwater on gland during initial stage the body with cure it..in your Case circumcision is better choice but diabetic may take longer to heal .. discuss with doctor..

I had the exact same problem last year. First don’t get circumcised unless you want to. Have you had a swab done to determine the cause of the balanitis. They need to do this to determine what the treatment will be. If bacterial you will need antibiotics, it could be yeast but mine was fungal. Initially mine kept coming back but eventually the doctors told me to use a steroid anti fungal cream for 3 weeks then immediately go onto a plain anti fungal cream for 3 months. When I was on the steroid cream I pushed through the pain and kept retracting my foreskin when ever I could like peeing etc. This worked for me to stretch the foreskin so that it became loose again. The reason they kept me on the anti fungal cream for so long was to kill the spores before they develop into fungus again. I have not had an issue since. Also check your diabetic medication. I was on canagilflozin and one of the side affects was thrush which was causing my problem.
