Hello I just went to see my doctor today, there is a little bit infection on wound but it’s no big deal. Doctor gave me antibiotics and told me to wash wound with soap , which I wonder wouldn't it irritate the wound more? Secondly , doctor told me not to apply Vaseline and instead something called polysporin.

As a partial circumcision it is side effect is infection as partial circumcision in adults.. same issues happen to me as i got infection but to got infection in wound is cause more pain and swelling so if you able to pull skin more time then try soap otherwise not ( if little soap will remain in wound then make more trouble ) .. because there is many options to deal with infection like warm water bath including savlon 2-3 times a day then I don’t know why doctor suggest soap in a painful wound … i take warm water bath because doctor have many ways to deal with it .. if we can’t able to comfortably clean with soap then clearly say him to no then he will suggest other options.. you take antibiotics on time because it will help a lot to me also .. don’t use vaseline use polysporin will help ..

No bro this is antibiotics cream help in infection to help in hypersensitive you need to rub with cloth or make it air dry at night as now on 2 month post circumcision my sensitivity not hurt me so wait bro it take time

yea the doctor told me to apply it over the glans but not on the wound so i thought it might help reduce sensitivity.
