Does circumcision reduce size in “growers”?

Does anybody know if this can happen? I am almost 10 weeks post- circumcision and am a “grower” but I’m still a good half an inch shorter fully erect than I was pre-circumcision.

Circumcision does not actually remove any length from your penis as it only removed foreskin. Sadly, swelling and tight skin might give the appearance of your penis being shorter. Carrying excess weight can also contribute to this. Time will usually put things right. Is your penis length causing you problems?

Down to 5-5.5 inches from 6.

So still in normal range. Hang on in there until it is all over to get that bit back. Try not to keep thinking about it and only worry if it affects your sexual abilities. If it troubles you a lot then perhaps see your doctor about accessing a talking therapy.

Yeah. If i’m being honest its down to 5 inches instead of 6. Regardless it still is in the normal range but that inch does make a difference mentally. Thank you for your help!

I’m going through the same thing I’m a grower and I lost a inch and half I hope it get it back it’s been 10 weeks for me I’m really worried

I am around 1 1/2 inches maybe 2 inches shorter i told my surgeon he said its in my head

Hi it could take a year before everything feels and looks normal again. The skin can be tight and even some swelling for some time after. it should improve do lots of massaging I found Bio-Oil good and having regular erections will also help.

Because the penile skin is stretchable to a degree, it will grow to accommodate the size of the shaft. Only outer tissue is removed by circumcision, so your inner core of the shaft is unaffected. Any tightness caused by the surgery will resolve and allow room for the shaft to expand to its original length.

The size of the penis never goes down. But what does happen is that the size of the penis that’s visible and above your pubes may be less. When thr doctor performs the procedure they usually ensure that all loose skin is removed so that when your penis is erect there is no loose skin on the shaft. That looseness usually affects the sensitivity. To ensure that your sensitivity remains heightened the result is usually kept snug.

Due to this snugness they penile muscle / tissues do not have anywhere to enlarge outside so it remains buried in the pubic base.

Similarly, people who have extra weight tend to have extra fat in the pubic region which pads the pubes and hides some of thr penis length.

Intact (uncut) folks have extra skin (shaft skin and foreskin) for the entire penis to be above and visible and that’s why they seem to feel that they were longer but the tightness of the erection was less. And post circumcision they may loose some length but gain kn tightness.

The good news is that skin stretches and loosens. And over time as the skin stretches a bit the length becomes visible again (however some of thr tightness may be lost.

Over the years many people who were cut late in life miss this tightness (of the initial cut) and go back to doctors to get their cut tightened.

I was just circumcised a week ago and my frenulum was fixed too. I’m also a grower, 6.5” when erect and this is one of my concerns.

I found a video on YouTube explaining a procedure to stretch the skin to allow more penis outside the pelvic area. You basically keep it in warm water, as hot as you can manage and slowly and gently stretch the skin of the penis base, for at least 30min daily, while your penis is under water.

That would speed up the stretching process.

I’m 49 and take high blood pressure pills. Those pills affect your libido and erections and I was using a vacuum pump before having sex, with great results.

I noticed the pump really stretched my penis and I plan on slowly using it for stretching and restoring to full size if necessary.

Im a grower to an honestly i felt like i was shorter and after waiting ive realized I actually got bigger and thicker even my wife said it an she enjoys it more i think Is all in your head tbh
