Hi, after a week with no infection you should be fine but bathing it in salt water solution should keep it that way. Don't use highly perfumed or harsh products. Hope you're pleased with it and enjoy your new status.

Put Bepanthen on it (assuming no open wound) 3 times a day. Worked wonders for me
