It is not good to remove the scabs. They are part of the healing process and will come off when the skin underneath them is healed.
Just like scabs on your knee or elbow, the scab will fall off when the skin underneath it is fully developed. If you yank it off , bleeding and pain from sensitivity will most likely ensue
I was advised to soak them off in a warm salt bath. As others have said best not pick.
