What happens if part of your stitches rip post circumcision?

Hi, I’m 23 years old and 9 days post circumcision. It happened about 4 days ago but I didn’t really understand what it was and now I realised that it’s my stitches that got ripped on one side of my penis and it’s now got a lump of weird skin in the way of the shaft and head with the stitches loose on top of it, compared to the other side at which the stitches did not rip it looks disgusting and I’m getting worried. I have zero pain whatsoever however the part where the stitches got ripped I can definitely feel if I press on it, please can someone tell me it’s not too late to have that sorted. I’m getting worried despite not being in pain that it will just look disgusting forever now. My GP is open tomorrow so I will give them a call and hopefully they will see me ASAP to get it sorted.

Loss of one or more stitches is fairly common and usually caused by nocturnal erections. It will heal but take longer. Do let you GP see it as it must be kept free of infection.
