My Circumcision experience

I’m a 42 year old and I thought I’d share my thoughts of being circumcised as an adult,

Well it started a few years back when I was getting sore foreskin after having continuous sex,,so sex in morning and then sex the same night, if I continued I would be sore and have discomfort, for years I thought this was the norm, coming from a European background circumcision isn’t done in our family, so it never come to my mind, so these issues I had where from me being a teen, I thought this is how it is, so years when on getting married and it slowly got worse, to the point I couldn’t have more sex more then 2 times a week as it was getting sore, the next problem I was starting to getaway, if didn’t have sex it was getting tighter to pull my foreskin back!

So I gained the confidence to go see my local doctor whom sent me to a urologist,

By now I’m nearly 41 years old, so after my first appointment urologist at first did say that they used to just circumcise straight up if any issues, but no longer,,so he recommended doing a frenulopasty,so I went home spoke to my wife and we said let’s give it a go, so off I went and booked it in,,got it done with no problems at all, it was a good 8 weeks in healing and good 6 months before scaring settled right down, so after that sex was better but still not what I expected, bumping into a school first we got talking and he told me he had been circumcised a fees back and he couldn’t believe how good it was, so last November I got my circumcision done, what can I say, I don’t regret it one bite, healing was a good 5-9 weeks, but as a 42 year old I definitely recommend it if you have issues, I didn’t loose any sensitivity, sex I s no longer painful and no more pain or discomfort day after sex

Circumcision is one of many valid treatments fir problems of the penis and it’s foreskin. It is not the only treatment and, as it is a surgical option , it does not always turn out as expected. All surgeries are not without risks or possible unwanted outcomes.

I am please that for you circumcision has relieved your penis health problem.

I'm going on the 8th week now and I've lost zero sensitivity which is great. I am able to still be feel so much. I'm waiting a bit before getting oral because I still have some areas where my skin hasn't smoothed out all the way but so far I'm pleased.

Bro, how long did it take you for scars to settle and get smoother, for me thats the most annoying part right now, they’re a bit raised, tight and uneven.

I’m 6 months post surgery and still have slight lumps on scar line, still a few months to go I think, it took a good 9 months for my frenulum to settle after surgery the first time

I’m sorry to hear of your bad experience, very true that everyone has a different experience, I was very worried I would have a bad experience, but so far so good

I was circumcised 9 years ago at the age of 44 due to a tight foreskin Guys use this forum at the time to see if they are doing the right thing and getting advice and then never return as all is well and they don’t need any information anymore. I am very happy with my choice and my orgasms are for me much stronger and better, but remember everyone experiences different outcomes. It’s a big decision that’s irreversible so don’t take it lightly. For me it also took over 1 year for everything to settle down my scar to become soft and for things to look normal, just like breast surgery, so be patient it will all come right over time

I had a frenuloplasty at 24 I think it was and just had to have the circumcision as the banding was so bad and I was getting balantis a lot. I wish I had just gone straight for the circ as the banded skin I think is still gonna be there. not gonna lie the post operative first week is gnarly peeing everywhere cannot stand the sight of it !
