Post Circumcision - swelling/bloated skin hurts on slightest physicals contact.

It's been 5 days since the surgery. My penis has swelling. To clarify, I am not talking about the exposed glans and talking about the bloated skin underneath the head.

It hurts A LOT when I touch it. I have to back in 5 days to get my stitches out but I'm 100% sure I can't handle the pain. When does the pain start subsiding?

Some amount of pain is unavoidable. I took Tylenol around the clock. Also - I did not do anything that I felt was unnecessary, like extended walking or physical activities. I just vegged out in front of the tv.

thanks for the reply! How long did it take for the pain to subside? I got two major pain points right now. The swollen ring and my head(due to exposed glans).

Um... I actually don't remember. Nevertheless, also keep in mind one more thing. After the major or main pain has gone, you will still get random little pains here and there for a short season. They will just come and go. They can be for various reasons like obviously continued healing or nerve growth or regrowth. Over time these will also go away until there is nothing.

thanks man. How long did it take for the swollen ring to become normal? Did it become completely flat?

It might have been a month and a half... not sure.
