Soft bead shaped tissue in place of frenulum after circumcision

Hello guys, I underwent circumcision 2 weeks ago and the wound seems to be healing properly but just below the glans where frenulum is supposed to be(frenulum is removed), there is a bead like tissue that is soft and stingy to touch unlike exposed glans which are just sensitive to rubbing. It is slightly darker than glans' color. Also more glan-like skin is exposed to left side of it which is swollen too.

I thought that it would disappear soon. But no effect till now. I am quite worried.

Is this normal? Is it some kind of scar that would never go away?

Sounds like the remainder of your frenulum.

Is this normal? How much time could it take to heal?

I’m not circumcised so I’m not sure. Everybody heals at differently. I’m only assuming that it could be your frenulum.

At 2 weeks it is far too early to say how things will finally resolve. Give your penis time to recover and most issues will probably disappear

You are still very early in the 6-8 weeks journey through healing.

You are probably seeing the remains of your frenulum which was most likely cauterised away, leaving nodules and scar tissue. This will settle down over time.

Yeah, thankyou. I guess I was too worried about it. I should wait at least 5 - 6 weeks and let it heal properly.

Hey bud! It definitely is early to conclude anything. Just let the body heal, for now try not to give it too much though and take proper care :) If it’s something that’s on your mind and can’t get it out you can always ask your doc, after all he’s responsible for the complete recovery process :)

Of course we can always help any way we can over here as well :)
