I’m 14 days into my circumcision , any tips on how to make swelling and healing part speed up ??

I soaked my penis in warm salt water and helped a lot with the healing.

I just got a coffee mug, filled it with water, warm it up in the microwave, and stir one tablespoon or table salt!

I dipped my penis as much as I could and soaked it for about five minutes. It is a bit challenging since it’s hard to keep your penis in the mug without spilling it

Oh! That would take quite a bit of salt. I only soaked my penis! You can also try and find a larger container other than a cup.

There is no need to soak the whole body in a salt solution. Its only function is to stop infection and it is only needed around your post op wound.

The idea of common family bath tub is not a good thing if you still have discharge on wound. That's why a tea mug or a bowl is more hygienic choice. Commercial saline solution has 0,9% Natrium/sodium. You can rinse with it too. 0,5l boiled water and 0,5-1 tea spoon of table salt is enough.

I started soaking after 2 weeks since my wound was completely healed. So, yeah, I did soak the stitches as well

I think just using E45 or Sudocrem will help. How’s it healing so far? Where are you from?

It’s healing pretty well to be fair just wanted to try speed up the procedure

Hi, a healthy diet, plenty of rest and keeping your penis upright should do the trick. I also used an anti bac cream fucidin that seems to have calmed some swelling down, i lubricated my bandage with the cream. I am 15 days post op and notice a small change in swelling. You gotta give your penis time, i urinate more straight now, sometimes it forks then goes to one stream, which is an indication of swelling.

Hey guys, I'm on 8th day. My doctor's uses the following procedure, which helps to heal better. Water with 0.9% saline solution, wipe with sterile gauze cloth, then wipe with betadine solution, then apply Fucidine Ointment, wrap a sterile gauze cloth 4*4 with loose bandage to avoid messing your undergarments. Hopefully it will heal better. Less infection outside, and improve immunity inside by eating healthy food- , fruits and vegetables.
