So, I’m 7 weeks out now from having my circumcision done, swelling is minimal all the way around, swelling of the incision is minimal as well. I’ve jerked off once every day since I was able to, just gently rubbing and being very careful still as is. BUT, my question is: should my dick be sore from after my sessions, and when I go to jerk off again sometimes it feels sore as well but doesn’t hurt at all, just curious if that’s normal also? If you are making yourself sore then perhaps you were not ready for masturbation. I am not sure why you continue if it is having an adverse effect on you.

You may find it beneficial to use lube, at least to start with whilst you develop your technique.

It worth remembering that your penis has undergone massive changes, skin which was always protected it’s now exposed and it will take time to feel normal. I’m just over a year in and can assure you it gets better, but it’s alway going to feel different than before. Tips would be to use lube, and go gentle. All the best.

As others have suggested this is a new experience for you and your penis. Pace yourself, and try different methods til you find what is right for you. I found coconut oil a good lube.Good luck it does get better.
