Stitches are still in 17 days after circumcision

Majority of my stitches are still in when should I call the doctors to let them know? My incision line is just below the head and when I try to move foreskin back to clean the area it looks like it’s stitched shut. Shouldn't I be able to move it abit further down my shaft since I have a cut closer to my head ?

You cannot move it any further than the stitching will allow. It sounds as if your surgeon has removed all your inner foreskin.

Oh ok, there’s a hard line/lump just below stitches is this likely due to swelling? It goes around the front of my shaft and towards to back on one side

It may just be temporary swelling or be part of the forming scar

About the stitches the time of them to loosen and fall vary from one person to another this depends on the suture material, for me (chromic catgut was used)am behind u in healing but got 2/3 of my stitches fallen out with the routine cleaning.
